What is the Spirit of prophecy?

Revelation 19:10 And I fell at his feet to worship him. And he said unto me, See thou do it not: I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren that have the testimony of Jesus: worship God: for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.

If the prophesy is not around Christ, then it is no prophecy at all. Prophecy is not to make us feel good. It’s purpose is not to tell us whom to marry, or what will become of us in future or the nation just for the fun of it. It is even more ridiculous that prophecy will be reduced to predicting football matches and all that. Prophecy is to declare the testimony of our Lord Jesus and Saviour, of His death and resurrection. This is indeed the Spirit of prophecy.
All prophecy points to Christ and extol Him. “And if I be lifted up from the earth will draw all men to Myself.”
